Chapter 13: "Reorganization Bankruptcy"
In Chapter 13 bankruptcy, you can still receive all of the benefits of discharging and eliminating debt without having to sell assets and property. When you file for Chapter 13, you can save your home from foreclosure, stop creditors' collection attempts, and still retain your property.
Unlike liquidation bankruptcy, Chapter 13 allows you to repay your debts over time - usually within about 5 years of your file date.
